The movie picks up where the first film left off, with Major Vijay Singh (Vidyut Jammwal) now working for the Indian government as a commando. However, things take a dark turn when Vijay discovers that his friend and fellow commando, Captain Kunal (Randeep Hooda), has been brainwashed by a terrorist organization. The terrorists, led by the ruthless and cunning Abu Usman (Saurabh Shukla), plan to use Captain Kunal to carry out a series of deadly attacks on Indian soil.
