The season, titled Survivor: Micronesia, was filmed in the beautiful islands of Micronesia, a region in the Pacific Ocean known for its crystal-clear waters, lush forests, and vibrant culture. The contestants, a diverse group of men and women from different walks of life, were dropped off on the island of Koror, where they would compete in challenges, form alliances, and try to outwit, outplay, and outlast each other to win the coveted title.

The first challenge of the season was a reward challenge, where the tribes competed to win a feast of fresh seafood and other delicacies. The challenge, titled “Tiki Tiki Temptation,” required the tribes to work together to paddle a canoe to a nearby island, retrieve a series of puzzle pieces, and then assemble a puzzle to reveal a treasure chest. The Vikings won the challenge, and they enjoyed a well-deserved feast while the Brawn tribe had to make do with a meager meal.
